Play-Down Request

There are circumstances where it is in the best interest of a player to Play Down into a lower division.

This are very infrequent, but if you feel you player should Play Down - you may contact our Player Agent ([email protected]) and make that request.

Play-up Request

Players who are League Age 6 years old and players who are League Age 8 years old may request to Play Up into a higher division.

Players must meet certain qualifications and, in the case of League Age 6 year old's, must pay the $85 difference in cost of registration between the Tee-Ball Division and the Farms Division, and in the case of League Age 8 year old's, must pay the $50 difference in registration cost between the Farms Division and the Minors A/B Division.

Note: Requests to play up are based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, player experience, recommendations, and space available in the requested division.

For League Age 8 year old players, the players must attend the Player Evaluations and will be placed into the pool of players being selected for the Minor A/B Draft. As a result - some players may not be selected in the Minor A/B draft, and would have to start their season in the Farms Division. Those players would be the 1st players pulled up to Minor A/B if there are openings during the season.

Following the successful completion of this Play Up request and placement of your player in a higher Division, you will see a charge on your account from Benicia Little League.
