Mission Statement
Benicia Little League is a non-profit organization, run by volunteers, whose mission is to provide an opportunity for our community’s children to learn the game of baseball in a safe and friendly environment.
Welcome to another fun and exciting season of Benicia Little League Baseball! This is our eighth year with an established Safety Plan and Benicia Little League’s Board of Directors are dedicated to establishing safety goals that will further the safe play of baseball.
Our commitment to this Safety Manual is proof that we at BLL are dedicated to our cause. Our team Managers and Coaches, as well as our parents, are encouraged to read it carefully, from cover to cover, as it will familiarize you with safety fundamentals and various policies of the League. Then use the manual as a powerful reference guide throughout the season. In addition, you are strongly encouraged to refresh or take a First-Aid class.
The Board of Directors reserves the right to refuse management of a team to any Manager or Coach who does not participate in our League Safety Clinics.
In closing, remember that safety rests with all of us, the volunteers and the community of Benicia Little League. Always use common sense, never doubt what children tell you, and report all accidents or safety infractions when they occur. Now, play ball and play it safe!
